How to Reach AMU

🚆 By Train (Recommended)

Aligarh is well-connected by rail. Fast trains from Delhi (New Delhi, Hazrat Nizamuddin) take ~2 hours. Popular options include Shatabdi Express, Gatimaan Express, Intercity Express. From Aligarh Junction, AMU is only 3–4 km by auto-rickshaw or cab.

🚌 By Bus

Regular UPSRTC and private buses run from Delhi (Anand Vihar ISBT / Sarai Kale Khan) to Aligarh in 3.5–4 hours. From the Aligarh Bus Stand, AMU is about 4–5 km.

🚗 By Car / Taxi

Distance: ~140 km from Delhi via Yamuna Expressway. Travel time: 2.5–3 hours. Taxis and ride-share options are available from Delhi Airport and city centers.

✈️ By Air

The nearest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), New Delhi. From the airport, you can take a direct cab (~3 hrs) or travel by train from Delhi to Aligarh.
